Codex Entry 162: Alistair

"You know, one good thing about the Blight is how it brings people together."

Alistair was a novice templar when Duncan recruited him into the Grey Wardens--or rescued him, as Alistair would say.

Alistair is fascinated by magic, even as his life is defined by fighting its darker manifestations. He has a fondness for strange runestones and figural studies of arcane creatures.

Isoldes suspicions were unfounded, however. Alistair was not Eamons son, but King Marics. Eamon sheltered the boy to hide his existence from Queen Rowan, Eamons sister.

His mother was a serving girl, who died when Alistair was very young. He was raised by Eamon Guerrin, arl of Redcliffe for a time.

The arls wife, Isolde, suspected the reason her husband took an interest in the welfare of a servants child was that Alistair was Eamons son. She insisted that the boy be sent away to the Chantry.
Alistair left:
Unable to accept the decision to spare Loghains life, Alistair left--and has not been seen since.

Alistair king:
With a great deal of assistance, Alistair was recognized by the Landsmeet as Marics son and granted his fathers throne.

Alistair dead:
To prevent further civil war, he was Executed at the Landsmeet on the orders of Queen Anora, ending the Theirin line.

Alistair archdemon:
In the battle against the archdemon in Denerim, Alistair gave his life to save his friends and end the Blight.

第一百六十二卷：Alistair

“你知道，天灾所带来的一个好处就是它将形形色色的人都聚集到一起了。”

Alistair是一位圣殿武士的初学者，而后被Duncan征召了他---或者拯救了他，按他的说法---加入了灰色守望者。

Alistair对魔法很是著迷，仅管他的一生都被人任命去与魔法的阴暗面进行战斗。他喜爱奇怪的符文石，以及能够帮助对魔法生物进行学习的雕像。

Isolde的怀疑始终并没有被确认。Alistair不是Eamon的儿子，而是国王Maric的儿子。Eamon保护了这个孩子并将他藏起来以不使皇后Rowan，同时也是Eamon的妹妹所发现。

他的母亲是一名侍女，在Alistair很年轻的时候就死去了。他被Redcliffe当时的男爵Eamon Guerrin抚养长大。

男爵的妻子Islde，怀疑她的丈夫之所以关心一位仆人的孩子是由于Alistair是Eamon的儿子。她坚持要将这个男孩送给教会抚养。

Alistair离去：
因无法接受宽恕Loghain生命的决定，Alistair离开了---并从此离开了人们的视线。

Alistair成为国王：
在接受了极大的帮助后，Alistair在领主会议上被认可为Maric的儿子并获得了他父亲的宝座。

Alistair死去：
为了防止今后可能发生的内战，他在领主会议上因女皇Anora的命令被予以处决，从此终结了Theirin后裔的血脉。

Alistair杀死大恶魔：
在Denerim对抗大恶魔的战斗中，Alistair牺牲了他的生命以拯救他的朋友并终结了天灾。
