本次展示的关卡是高速公路地带，无论是3D场景那极有魄力的画面还是2D场景的精美背景，无不显示了世嘉的诚意。此外，主角索尼克亦敌亦友的存在暗影(Shadow)也确认将在本作中登场。

　　游戏将于2011年11月内发售，对应平台为PS3、XBOX360和3DS平台。而近日SEGA也官方确认了本作同时会登陆PC平台。
